Let one of our party stylists help you design a birthday party with lavish detail. Need help choosing a theme? Do you have your theme picked out but need someone to help you implement the theme appropriately throughout your party? Would you like your party to have the extra special touches that set it apart from the rest? Want your friends and family to say, "WOW"? Want your child's party to be truly unique? Who could benefit from a children's birthday party stylist? If you answer yes to any of the questions above, you could benefit from a children's birthday party stylist. How is a stylist different from a party planner? A party planner will help you put together all aspects and logistics of your party. That is different. A stylist is a very creative party professional who has the knowledge, experience and resources to take any theme and infuse that theme into a party in unique ways. Some party planners can do that, but not all. The specific purpose of a stylist is to create a more fun, more memorable birthday party and make sure the party is polished, a bit posh, trendy and creatively impressive by focusing on the details. A stylist can work with your planner or coordinator to bring your party to the next level by adding little flourishes and specific details that will enhance your guest's experiences. How does it work when I hire a children's party stylist? Once you decide you would like to hire a stylist, call our office to book an appointment. Your stylist will speak to you on the phone first to gather some general details. When they come to meet you either at your home or the party venue, they will arrive with lots of great ideas, suggestions, pictures, and perhaps even some samples if applicable. You will discuss your party in depth from concept and general ideas, to ambiance, decor, food, entertainment, and any other important aspects of your party you wish to discuss. She will make many suggestions. You may make many suggestions and together you will define, design and perfect your child's party. You can implement any ideas that arise from your meeting, or you can ask her to implement ideas for an additional fee. (See below). An example of implementing an idea would be: you discuss with your stylist that you want a fabulous Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. She brainstorms with you and you both come up with many ideas like a life-sized chess game and customized wonderland signs around the party telling guests what each station is (among 10 other excellent ideas). You don't have the time or knowledge to make those things happen so you ask her to make all the arrangements. Done. What does it cost to hire one of your children's party stylists? One in-person consultation at your home or event venue (up to 1 1/2 hours): $ 200. If you would like your stylist to implement any ideas or suggestions you want, the fee is $50hr. (The average time to implement an entire party's worth of ideas is 2-3hrs. Some parties take less time, some parties take more time.) Combo package: Party stylist who will meet with you, do up to 2 hours of implementation and also coordinate on the day of your party: $650.
